Column Addition of up to 3 Digits - With Regrouping (B) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Learners will practice column addition of up to three digits with regrouping throughout this worksheet as well as answer questions that will encourage them to think deeper about addition.

In section A the column addition is pre-drawn on individual square grids for your students to simply answer on the worksheet or copy into their books.

Next, pupils are faced with 7 addition questions and are given a square grid where they will have to set up their own column addition before answering. Numbers here vary in place value and there are even two questions where numbers are written as words.

Learners have a chance to articulate and provide written answers in sections C and D as they will spot, explain and correct mistakes and more.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.
