Children will read the coordinates of symbols in the first quadrant throughout this worksheet.
In section A, twelve different symbols are placed across a coordinate grid and pupils will write down the coordinates of each image. We have included symbols on both the x and y axes.
Section B is a code breaker-style activity. Letters are spread out over a coordinate grid and students will use given coordinates to spell a word and will write down the coordinates to spell ‘maths’.
