Lines of Symmetry (A) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

This worksheet is designed to help learners recognise shapes with vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines of symmetry.

Section A requires learners to draw lines of symmetry on shapes where appropriate.

Section B requires learners to shade one square to give a pattern one line of symmetry.

Section C requires learners to shade the minimum number of squares to give two diagonal lines of symmetry.
