Midpoints of Lines WORKSHEET
Midpoints of Lines WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This worksheet provides practice plotting, reading and writing coordinates in both the first quadrant and all four quadrants whilst working with midpoints of lines.
In section A, students are given three coordinate pairs to plot which they must join to form a triangle before finding the midpoint of each side of the triangle.
Next up, learners are given the midpoints of each side of the triangle and will use these to find the coordinates of each vertex before plotting and joining to form the triangles.
All coordinate pairs consist of integers.
All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.

Frequently Asked Questions
This worksheet is specifically created for Year 6 pupils who are developing their coordinate geometry skills. At this stage, students are ready to work with both positive and negative coordinates across all four quadrants of the coordinate plane. The activities build upon their earlier work with coordinates in just the first quadrant.
