Multiples WORKSHEET
Multiples WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
Pupils will use their knowledge of times tables up to 12 x 12 to identify multiples over four sections.
In section A, students are given three lists of numbers and they must identify what number they are all multiples of.
Next, in section B your pupils are given a set of 12 numbers and from that list will identify numbers which are multiples of 3, 5, 8 and 11. This section also introduces the concept of common multiples.
The first 10 multiples of numbers will be written out in section C and then in section D, pupils have two “I’m thinking of a number…” problems to solve.
All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.

Frequently Asked Questions
Students should be confident with their multiplication tables up to 12 x 12 before tackling these multiples activities. This foundation will help them recognise patterns and identify which numbers share common factors across the different sections. Year 5 pupils typically have this knowledge from previous years, making them ready to explore the concept of multiples more deeply.
