This worksheet is the first in our differentiated set on understanding place value of numbers up to 10,000.
In this version, section A encourages pupils to read and write numbers with four digits in words and numerals as they match up pairs of equal numbers.
Then section B sees students writing down numbers represented by place value counters in numerals and words.
