This worksheet asks students to fill in the gaps of a spider diagram.
Section A requires students to use some mental methods for finding 10%, 1%, 50% and 25% of some given amounts.
Section B changes the task to finding those and other percentages of an amount in the centre of the spider diagram. The percentages in the diagrams are well planned, giving simple percentages to find that can then be combined in a sum or difference to find the others. For example, 10%, 1%, 11%, 90% and 99%.
Section C is provided with a blank spider diagram so that students can make up their own questions.
