Unit Fractions WORKSHEET

Learners will recognise, find, name and write the fractions 1/2, 1/3 and ¼ throughout this worksheet.

In section A the three fractions are shown in different images, either represented by arrays or shaded rectangles and learners will write what fraction is shown in each.
Then, in section B, pupils are given six different rectangles and are asked to shade either ½, ⅓ or ¼ of each one.

Section C introduces pupils to finding fractions of amounts as they use arrays to complete number sentences such as ½ of 12 = .
