This resource consists of eight mixed problems on the area and volume of similar shapes and will challenge KS4 students working towards the higher tier at GCSE.

Questions are varied and include true or false statements, calculating the area or volume of similar shapes, using volumes of similar shapes to calculate missing lengths, finding the mass of a sphere, solving problems involving ratio and even one question looking at cones and frustums. Students may want to use a calculator to answer these questions. The worksheet contains colourful images for an appealing design.
