Get plenty of practice finding the area and perimeter of compound shapes made up of rectangles with this worksheet. Here, students are encouraged to split each compound shape into two or more rectangles before finding the area.
There is no requirement to calculate missing lengths in section A but students will need to find the correct missing lengths before carrying out their area and perimeter calculations in section B.
Ensure students use appropriate units throughout.
