Describing Angles WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This worksheet encourages students to use correct angle notation, estimate the size of angles and describe them by identifying them as acute, obtuse, reflex or right.
Students will describe the 9 pre-drawn angles by completing a table in section A. The angles range in size from 30° to 290° and are all multiples of 10, however, student's answers can be accepted with ±5o accuracy.
In section B, we have provided the angle sizes and the notation for 10 angles. This time, learners should draw the angles by estimation and using the correct notation as well as including the angle type.
