Describing Enlargements (B) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Focus solely on describing enlargements with this worksheet. There are 10 questions in total for students to find the centre of enlargements and scale factor of enlargement when an object is mapped onto an image.

In question 1, students are helped along as they are asked to complete information in a table which ensures they write down the type of transformation, scale factor and find the centre of enlargement. Question 2 does not include these prompts. All enlargements are shown on a cartesian plane and both positive and negative scale factors are used, whether an integer or fractional.
