Drawing and Measuring Angles WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Simply practise the skills of measuring and drawing acute, obtuse and reflex angles in various orientations with this worksheet.

Starting in section A, students will measure all sizes of angles from a horizontal line with angles opening up from the right-hand side. Next, section B contains angles for pupils to measure from horizontal lines opening up from the left.

Section C moves on to all size angles drawn in multiple orientations for students to measure. Accept answers ±3o to those given.

Now, learners will draw three acute angles in section D, three obtuse angles in section E and six reflex angles in section F. The worksheet provides ample space for students to draw their angles. Encourage pupils to peer mark these sections by measuring each other's angles.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.

Frequently Asked Questions

Students should already be comfortable using a protractor before tackling this worksheet. This foundational skill is essential as they'll be both measuring existing angles and drawing new ones across all the different sections. Without confidence in protractor use, pupils may struggle with the varied orientations presented throughout the activities.
