Enlargement (C) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Enlargement (C) sees pupils practising enlargement from centres of enlargement by positive integer and fractional scale factors on square and coordinate grids.

Section A consists of 4 questions on a square grid. Here students will enlarge from centres of enlargement in different relative positions including one 'inside' the object.

Section B provides an opportunity for your learners to enlarge polygons on coordinate grids in the first quadrant. There are six questions on separate axes where students are given the scale factor of enlargement and centre of enlargement in coordinate form. One fractional scale factor is included of 1.5.

Ensure your students are equipped with a pencil and ruler to complete their enlargements.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.
