Enlargement with Negative Scale Factors WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

This worksheet on enlargement with negative scale factors is designed to develop students' understanding of enlarging shapes from a given center of enlargement using only negative scale factors.

In the first section, students are given shapes and a center of enlargement marked with an 'X'. They are asked to enlarge these shapes using integer scale factors of -1 and -2.

The second section progresses to a coordinate grid, where students are asked to enlarge objects from a specified center of enlargement, given by coordinates such as (0,0) and (-3,-1). The scale factors in this section are also -1 and -2.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.
