Finding Place Value WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This worksheet focuses on students being able to identify the place value of a given digit in numbers ranging from millions to hundredths. Answers are encouraged to be given in a numerical form and as fractions where the place value is less than one.
There are five sections that increase in difficulty; the size of numbers increases. Culminating with decimal numbers appearing in section E.
Once place value is understood, students are ready for our worksheets on multiplying and dividing numbers by powers of ten.
