Fraction and Percentage Equivalence WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
Students will practice converting between fractions and percentages through a range of approaches.
The focus of Section A is expressing fractions as percentages. Firstly, learners will multiply fractions by 100 to write them as percentages before moving on to using a calculator. Students will encounter integer and decimal percentages as well those greater than 1.
Section B reverses the process, requiring percentages to be expressed as fractions in their simplest form.
Section C develops reasoning further, with tasks that include error spotting, comparing proportions across contexts, and ordering mixed forms of fractions and percentages.
The combination of direct calculation, conceptual understanding, and problem-solving ensures learners become confident in moving flexibly between fractions and percentages.
