Frustums WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

This worksheet is perfect for challenging the brightest learners.

In section A, they will need to find the volume of circular and square-based frustums. This may involve thinking about similar shapes. Section B then requires the surface areas of three frustums.

Section C will again require some thinking about similar triangles to help find both the volume and surface area of a circular frustum and a square-based frustum. An extension question involves finding the angle of the sectors used to form a frustum.
