In Terms of Pi (A) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Here is a non-calculator worksheet on the circumference and area of circles. Answers, where appropriate, will be left in terms of pi.

Section A is about finding the circumference given either the radius or diameter.

Section B is about finding the area given either the radius or diameter.

Section C then gives some sectors (quarter circles or semicircles) and compound shapes and asks for both the perimeter and area - Pythagoras' Theorem is required for question 3.

Section D then gives either the area or circumference of a circle in terms of pi and asks for the other measurement.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.
