Midpoints WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Finding the midpoint of a line segment is a key concept in geometry that helps students understand the properties of lines and coordinates.

This worksheet is designed to take your pupils through the process of finding midpoints by using coordinates of a midpoint and the end of line to calculate the coordinates of the other end of a line segment. In Section A, students have the benefit or a drawn line segment before using just coordinates.

In Section B, your students will decide whether given coordinates are the midpoints of line segments or not.

Lastly, pupils will put all their learning together to calculate the midpoints of line segments from images and coordinates, in Section C.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.
