Parallel and Perpendicular Lines WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
Learners will use correct line notation to identify parallel and perpendicular throughout this worksheet.
In Section A, students identify the names of polygons drawn on a square grid before answering questions about lines within each of the five shapes. Learners will decide which lines are parallel or perpendicular to given lines.
Then in section B pupils are asked to construct two polygons on a dotted grid according to the following parameters: A shape with exactly 2 right angles and 1 pair of parallel sides and a shape with exactly 3 right angles and 2 pairs of parallel sides.
