This resource focuses on solving ratio problems where one quantity is provided.
Section A kicks things off by asking learners to compare two questions: one where the ratio is given and a total, in the other a ratio is given and one part of the total is known.
In Section B, pupils will answer a set of 8 minimally different questions. The problems require students to calculate not just one missing quantity but also the total number of individuals based on a given ratio.
Lastly, Section C poses more complex problems which require students to apply their understanding of ratios in more practical contexts, involving multiple steps and the combination of different quantities.
Each section is progressively more challenging, encouraging students to deepen their understanding of ratios and their ability to apply this knowledge in various contexts.
