Ratios and Coordinates WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This worksheet will challenge learners to uses their knowledge of ratios to find the coordinates of points on a line segment or the extension of a line segement. Section A provides a diagrams of line segments AB and asks learners to find the point C for a given ratio AC:CB. Section B then asks for a missing coordinate without the aid of a diagram. Section C then introduces problems where a line segments is extended and a point R is the point produced by a given ratio.
