This worksheet follows on from Simplifying Surds (A) and (B) by featuring more questions on collecting like surds and then a good selection of expanding brackets with surds.

Section A is a warm-up activity with some simplification and collecting surd terms. This skill will be required for later sections.

Section B provides 6 questions on expanding a single bracket, then 6 questions where learners need to expand double brackets with surd terms.

Section C then finishes the worksheet with 6 questions on squaring brackets with surd terms.
