Substituting into Expressions (C) worksheet description

Learners will practice substituting positive and negative integer values into a variety of increasingly complex expressions throughout this worksheet. The layout encourages students to write out the calculation they will complete, after substitution of the given value, in full before finding the value of each expression.

Students are required to calculate using the correct order of operations throughout including the use of brackets and indices within expressions. Sections B and C also include fraction notation for division.

Answers consist of positive and negative integers and fractions. Our answer sheet provides step-by-step detail of how each answer is derived.
