Telling the Time (A) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Ensuring students can tell the time is often overlooked when they reach KS3. This worksheet will take your learners through the basics of reading analogue and digital clocks.

In ‘Telling the Time (A)’, pupils have a table to complete where the time will be shown on an analogue clock or a digital clock and written in words; sometimes, this means learners will read the time in words and complete the clock, or they will read the time from a clock and write the time in words.

Section A focuses on telling the time to the hour. In section B, times quarter past and half past the hour are introduced, and section C concludes with a mixture of the above.

Try 'Telling the Time B' to learn to tell the time more accurately.
