Column Addition - Decimals (A) WORKSHEET

Column Addition - Decimals (A) will see your learners adding decimals with 1, 2 and 3 decimal places using the column method. The decimals in each question have the same number of decimal places and throughout the worksheet pupils encounter questions that require regrouping and questions that do not.

In section A, the column additions are already laid out for pupils, in section B they will write the decimal numbers in the column addition format themselves. Section C gives pupils a chance to articulate as they spot, correct and explain an error and section D provides opportunity for problem solving as they fill gaps to make three addition statements correct.
