Have some fun with this emoji-themed worksheet that introduces students to substitution and solving equations without them even realising it!
In this activity, pupils are presented with emojis that have unknown values. They are given sums of combinations of these emojis and must solve the puzzle to find the unknown values. Once these values are calculated, students complete a number sentence using the values they've just determined.
We have created a series of worksheets for World Emoji Day, but they can be used at any time of the year!
