Properties of 3D Shapes (A) WORKSHEET

Throughout this worksheet, learners will identify and describe the properties of 3-D shapes, including the number of edges, vertices and faces.

In section A, pupils will name eight different 3d shapes. We have included the names so this can be completed as a match-up activity.

Then in section B, learners must match up 3D shapes to a brief description such as “Has 6 flat faces. All of them are rectangles”.

Lastly, students will complete a table by counting the number of edges, vertices and faces six different 3D shapes have. We have included pictures here.
