Recognising Coins - 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p & 50p WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
Pupils will recognise coins and consider their different values throughout this worksheet, where skip counting is used to determine the value of sets of the same coins and sets of mixed coins.
In section B, pupils will state the value of each of the coins from 1p - 50p, put them in ascending order according to value, count the number of each of the coins in a set of mixed coins and state the value of each denomination.
Section C sees learners determining the value of coins in six different purses, where three of the purses contain a mixed denomination of coins. Pupils will then answer questions such as which purse has the highest or lowest value of money in it.
