Rounding Numbers to the Nearest 100 Using Number Lines (B) WORKSHEET
Rounding Numbers to the Nearest 100 Using Number Lines (B) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This is the second in our set of differentiated worksheets on rounding to the nearest 100. In this version, students will use number lines to round numbers under 1000 to the nearest 100.
The worksheet begins with an activity that sees children completing number sequences where all the numbers are multiples of 100.
Section B begins with an example and then consists of 9 questions each with a number line. Students are encouraged to mark each number on the number line before deciding which multiple of 100 the number is closest to.
In section C pupils will choose numbers from a list that fit certain constraints such as “Rounds to 600 when rounded to the nearest 100”.
All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.
