Calculator Percentages WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

This worksheet will help students towards mastering finding percentages with a calculator.

Section A helps prepare students for using decimal conversions of percentages. This is an excellent skill for students to develop for later topics involving multipliers, such as increasing and decreasing by percentages or compound interest and depreciation.

Section B asks students to fill in two tables to find some percentage of money. This will also reinforce the skill of rounding to two decimal places in money questions.

Finally, Section C has five worded-style problem-solving contextual questions. These are great questions for making this area of mathematics relevant to the students and will help with their problem-solving skills.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.

Frequently Asked Questions

Students need to be comfortable converting between percentages and decimals, as this forms the foundation for the calculator methods they'll be learning.
