Expanding Double Brackets (B) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

"This worksheet contains forty-five expressions of double brackets to expand and simplify over three different sections. Plenty to give students lots of practice or choice for teachers and parents to target questions at individuals.

In section A, expressions contain only one variable but include both positive and negative terms and well as expressions with a coefficient other than 1 or -1.

Section B introduces expressions with more than one variable and includes expressions such as (x + 6)2.

In section C, pupils will expand and simplify expressions with up to two sets of double brackets and expressions such as 8( 7x + 2 )(x + 6). "
