Factorising Expressions WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
Students will have ample practice factorising into single brackets with this worksheet consisting of 36 varied questions. Learners will need to be confident in simplifying algebra by dividing, the division index law and finding the HCF of up to three terms.
In section A, all the expressions contain two terms. The section begins with expressions containing number factors only and progresses to expressions which have number and two variable factors including indices.
All the expressions in section B are made up of three terms. Again the section progresses from expressions with only number factors to those with number and two variable factors. The last two questions even have fractional factors.
