Fractions on Number Lines (B) WORKSHEET

This worksheet is designed to extend the understanding gained from Fractions on Number Lines (A) by making learners think about equivalent fractions as well as mixed numbers. Section A asks learners to place a fraction on a number line given the position of another with a denominator which is a factor or multiple of the other. Section B, repeats this task but with mixed numbers. Section C then gives fractions that do not have related denominator, therefore learners will need to find common denominators to help place the required fraction.
