This worksheet gives plenty of opportunities to consolidate the skills of index laws.
Section A asks learners to evaluate some powers with and without the use of a calculator.
Section B then asks learners to simplify some index statements involving terms with the same base.
Section c then moves on to negative indices, applied to both numerical terms and algebraic ones.
Section D introduces questions with fractional indices for both numerical and algebraic terms.
Finally, section E requires some algebraic terms with fractional and negative indices to be rewritten.
