This worksheet is designed to give plenty of practice of solving simple one-step equations.
Sections A, B and C provide equations in the form x+a=b, a+x=b and x-a=b to strengthen the skill of using additive inverses.
Sections D and E then provide equations in the form ax=b and x/a=b to encourage the use of multiplicative inverses.
Section F then provides a mixed exercise for learners to practise the different one-step equation methods.
