Solving Quadratic Equations by Factorising WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

This worksheet gives plenty of practice in solving quadratic equations by factorisation.

Section A provides some already factorised quadratic which just need the solutions found by setting each bracket equal to zero.

Section B then provides ten quadratics, some of which may need some rearrangement, with an x-squared coefficient of one.

The quadratics in section C are in the “difference of two squares” form and section D has quadratics with x-squared coefficients greater than one.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.
