Substituting into Formulae (A) (With Clues) WORKSHEET
Substituting into Formulae (A) (With Clues) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This worksheet is made up of five questions, introducing students to substituting into formulae from worded problems. Questions are based around the following themes: calculating distance, finding both the perimeter of a rectangle, fare calculator for a taxi driver, area of a triangle and volume of a cuboid. Questions 2 to 5 also require students to form and solve equations to calculate missing information.
We have created two versions of this worksheet, this version with clues and one without. Clues come in the form of supporting diagrams and the formation of equations. Choose whichever works best for your class/individual or have both available.
All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.
