Trial and Improvement (A) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

The topic of this worksheet is no longer on the GCSE specification but is still useful to provide an opportunity for learners to think about solving equations using a method of trial and improvement.

Section A begins the worksheet by asking learners to answer true or false to some rounding statements.

Section B then provides some tables and equations and leads learners through the process of trialling values to solve equations and then improving their trials to find answers correct to 1 decimal place.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.
