Changing the Subject: Requires Factorisation WORKSHEET
Changing the Subject: Requires Factorisation WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
"Students will be challenged yet supported whilst completing this worksheet, changing the subject of complex formulae and equations.
In Section A, students will fill the gaps in multi-stage rearrangement processes. This is aimed at guiding learners through the process and focusing on using the correct inverse operations in the proper order.
Section B consists of 6 increasingly difficult but minimally different formulas which pupils will rearrange on their own using the steps from section A.
Then, Section C presents multiple-choice challenges, requiring learners to select the correct rearrangement from three possible answers.
Lastly, Section D will see learners rearranging increasingly sophisticated equations with up to three variables."
All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.

Frequently Asked Questions
Students should have solid basic algebraic manipulation skills and a good understanding of factorisation techniques before tackling these problems. They'll also need to be confident with performing inverse operations, as the guided examples in Section A specifically focus on applying the correct inverse operations in the proper sequence when rearranging complex formulae.
