Circle Theorems (C) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Following on from Circle Theorems (A) and Circle Theorems (B), this worksheet will help learners practise using the circle theorems formed from tangents to circles.

It will require knowledge of “a tangent is perpendicular to the radius at the same point”, “tangent form a point to a circle are the same length” and “the alternate segment theorem”.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.

Frequently Asked Questions

This worksheet targets grades 6-7, making it suitable for students working at a solid to good level in GCSE mathematics. The focus on finding angles using the more advanced tangent-related theorems means students need to be confident with both geometric reasoning and applying multiple circle properties within the same problem.
