Compound Shapes (A) Worksheet Description

Get plenty of practice finding the area and perimeter of compound shapes made up of rectangles with this worksheet. Before finding the area, students must split each compound shape into two or more rectangles.

There is no requirement to calculate missing lengths in section A. Still, students must find the correct missing lengths before doing section B's area and perimeter calculations.

Ensure students use appropriate units throughout.
