Students will work with direct proportion equations throughout this structured worksheet. Students are encouraged to write down proportional relationships in three different sections (relationships include y ∝ x, s ∝ q² and A ∝ z²), convert to an equation using k, find the constant of proportionality and then use this equation to find missing values of both the subject of the formula and the other variable.
Information given differs and gets more challenging as learners progress through the worksheet. Students will work with twelve direct proportion equations in total. Calculators are required for pupils to complete.
