Challenge Key Stage 4 students following the higher tier scheme of learning with this worksheet introducing radians. Students will be met by a short definition of 1 radian and will go on to use this to: convert angle measurements in radians to degrees and vice versa, match up equal measurements in degrees and radians, write formulae for converting from one to the other unit of measurement and label the x axes of a sine and cosine graph in radians.
Although not part of the UK national curriculum at GCSE, this worksheet provides an interesting extension task or is perfect for some fun on Pi day!
