Once students are comfortable with their times tables facts, they can begin to multiply larger numbers mentally. This worksheet will start learners by multiplying multiples of ten. In section A, pupils will begin by multiplying ten pairs of numbers such as 3 x 20 and 110 x 60.
Section B consists of six multiplication arithmagons. These get increasingly difficult as students will have to consider common factors of numbers up to 132,000 in order to solve the puzzles.
The problem-solving puzzles continue into section C. Here your students have two multiplication pyramids to complete. Each block is made of the products of the two numbers below. Again learners will have to think about multiplication and division to complete.
