Rotation (B) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Give you students ample practice of rotating objects on individual sets of axes with this worksheet. There are 12 objects to rotate either clockwise or anticlockwise around a coordinate. The polygons in each question are unique and have vertical, horizontal and diagonal sides.

Centres of rotation vary and include being on vertices of the polygons, the origin, on a vertical, horizontal or diagonal line with a vertex of the object and even inside a polygon.

Ensure learners are equipped with a pencil and a ruler and they may require access to tracing paper. See Our worksheet Rotation C, where students can begin to describe rotations.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.
