Substituting into Formulae (B) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION

Students will work with formulae they may recognise throughout this worksheet. Students are given formulae and are required to calculate the subject as well as another variable within each formula. Values learners will substitute are positive, negative, integer and decimal.

Section A is designed to be completed without a calculator. Pupils will use the formula for converting Celsius to Fahrenheit, calculating velocity, the nth term of an arithmetic sequence and more.

Calculators are advised in order to complete section B as students will use formulae including pi, other formulae for motion and the quadratic formula. Our answers are rounded to 2 decimal places and we have let pi = 3.14.

All worksheets are created by the team of experienced teachers at Cazoom Maths.
